Manchester United has confirmed in a statement on Thursday that the club’s Executive Vice-Chairman, Ed Woodward, will step down from his role from the 1st of February 2022. The English Premier League club, however, revealed that former group managing director, Richard Arnold, is taking over the position of Chief Executive Officer of the Club after Woodward’s exit, Naija News reports. A statement sighted on the club’s official website today reads: “Manchester United has announced that Richard Arnold, formerly Group Managing Director, will become Chief Executive Officer of the Club, effective from 1st February 2022.
