Suspected armed bandits have killed one person and kidnapped several others during an attack on Tangaza town in Tangaza Local Government Area of Sokoto State. According to some residents, the bandits, who invaded the town on Friday after the evening prayer, started shooting sporadically. The residents stated that the bandits killed a trader on the spot and another young girl died after being taken to the hospital. Three other persons were said to have sustained injuries and were currently receiving treatment in a hospital.
